Beachfront Hotel Hokitika is looking for a Guest Service Agent / Receptionist to join our Front Office team.
As a key member of our Front Office team, youโll be involved in all aspects of the guest experience, from welcoming guests and managing reservations to assisting with their needs throughout their stay and helping create a comfortable, enjoyable and memorable experience for every guest.
What youโll be doing:
โจ Welcoming guests and providing friendly, professional service
โจ Managing check-ins, check-outs, bookings and reservations
โจ Assisting with guest requests, questions and concerns
โจ Providing local recommendations and travel information
โจ Handling phone calls, emails and guest enquiries
โจ Liaising with housekeeping and other departments to follow through on guest needs
โจ Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the hotel

Previous hotel or front office experience is preferred, but the right attitude, initiative and genuine passion for guest service are just as important.
