Holiday Park Receptionist
At Hokitika Holiday Park we are looking to add a fourth person to our reception team.
The team are dynamic, supportive, love customer service and are passionate about the tourism industry. They look after up to 250 guests across power sites, tent sites, cabins and motel units. Work includes running the office, friendly customer service, managing and helping with the cleaning, keeping the laundry humming and answering phone both in and outside of office hours.
We love helping people enjoy their holiday on the West Coast. We are a family friendly and a dog friendly park. We like to provide a great place for people to come and take a break, to stay and have fun. Our motto is the customer comes first.
Part-time position.
The applicant would be required to greet and check-in customers
The applicant must be happy to work every other weekend during parts of the year and be flexible to fill in when other staff are away or sick and be on call after hours as part of their shift.
There is the possibility of more hours if the applicant is happy to also do additional cleaning shifts.
Hours per week: Anywhere from 8-30 hours averaged over the month. This is a very seasonal job. In winter and off-peak season there would be less hours, but in peak season there would be more. The team have input into the roster. At times the team has chosen to be rostered on the same shifts each week. Other times they have chosen to do twice as many hours during the week but have every second week off.

Skills Required
Receive and welcome guests.
Attention to detail.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Able to respond to customer queries via email accurately and clearly.
Receive and make phone calls to customers. Clear and concise phone manner.
Social media/marketing skills would be great but not necessary.
On job training provided. Previous experience with Seekom would be great but not necessary.
