🚀 How to Make a Post Go "Viral" with the New 2026 Facebook Rules
Has the Reach on your page or Profile dropped recently? Then you absolutely need to know about these new changes! 👇
1. Transparency in AI Usage (AI Disclosure)
If you used AI (Artificial Intelligence) to create a post, you must now disclose it. Facebook automatically applies an "AI Info" label to photos or videos generated by AI. If you attempt to deceptively hide this, your page's Reach is likely to decrease.
2. Stop Copying Others' Work (Unoriginal Content)
Posting others' videos or posts exactly as they are (without editing) is now widely penalized. According to the new 2026 rules, if you reshare someone else's content, you must add your own unique value to it (e.g., Commentary, significant Edits, or Voiceover).
3. "Conversation" is More Important Than Just Engagement
The algorithm now prioritizes posts that spark genuine conversation and discussion between people in the comments section, rather than posts that users simply "Like" and scroll past.
💡 How to Get More Engagement on Your Posts?
Reels Come First: Reels videos are still the fastest-growing content format on Facebook. Aim to hook your viewer within the very first 3 seconds.
Ask a Question: At the end of your post, encourage comments by asking an open-ended question like, "What are your thoughts on this?" or "Which one is your favorite?"
The First Hour is Crucial: Reply quickly to comments you receive within the first hour of posting. This sends a strong signal to the algorithm that your post is important and engaging.
Use Carousels: Since users spend more time swiping through posts with multiple images (Carousels), these posts tend to have higher Reach.
Share this post with your friends so they can stay updated on the new rules too! 📢
