Woodend Beach Holiday Park is a seaside camp offering guests a relaxing break, set in 20 hectares of park like grounds, surrounded by forest and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Close to Christchurch and only 20 minutes to the Christchurch airport and an hour to Hanmer. With three golf courses (Kaiapoi, Rangiora and Pegasus) just a few minutes drive away, and nestled between two great fishing rivers,

(the Ashley River and the Waimakariri River), it is a perfect location for stopping off. Camp in your tent, campervan or caravan or stay in a fully self contained motel or budget cabin. There are free bbqs, clean refurbished communal blocks, wifi internet and a camp shop. A CAMP FOR FAMILIES. Families can bike or walk the Pegasus Bay Walkway north past the Tutaepatu Lagoon to Pegasus and Waikuku Beach or south to Pines and Kairaki Beach. There is plenty for the kids with an adventure bike track, lots of playground equipment dotted around and we are right next door to a reserve with an adventure playground. There are farm animals and an exotic parrot and bird aviary..Watch the cheeky blackbirds, listen to the beautiful song of the native bell birds and the waves lapping the beach.
