**Manager Position Available at The Lobster Inn Motor Lodge**
The Lobster Inn Motor Lodge in Kaikoura is seeking a new Manager as our current Manager is relocating to Australia. We are looking for an outgoing, mature individual who enjoys interacting with the public, is organized, and demonstrates strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, reliable, honest, and in good health. Computer skills are essential. While experience in the hospitality accommodation industry or owning a business is preferred, we are willing to provide training for the right person.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling receptionist duties
- Corresponding with inbound tour operators, corporate clients, overseas guests, and local visitors primarily via email and phone
- Working a schedule of 10 days on and 4 days off
- Supervising and motivating the cleaning staff according to schedules set by the owner, as well as recruiting and training new cleaners
- Preparing rooms for cleaning
- Assisting with room cleaning and bed-making during slow periods
- Laundering cleaning cloths and other linens
- Preparing continental breakfasts
