Dear Camp ground followers,

We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen circumstances, Kakanui Campground will be closing permanently. Our last weekend of operation will be October 24, 2025.

We understand that this may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please rest assured that we are working to ensure all deposits are refunded by the end of October. You can expect to receive a refund within this timeframe.

This was not a decision we made lightly, and we deeply appreciate your support during your time with us.

Due to Ryan’s 40th Birthday quickly sneaking up on us, we’ll be closing the camp for the weekend of 23rd to 25th May 2025.

This guy works so hard and we appreciate the hell out of him. Let’s give him the weekend off 🥳🤪
