Purple Hen Country Lodge Our tranquil 5 hectare property is nestled in the lower Kaimai ranges just minutes away from Katikati OR
The Lodge has 4 bedrooms each with their own bathroom.

You have a choice of accommodation:
The self-contained Apartment is up a staircase on the 2nd level, having 3 double bedrooms (with ensuite bathrooms), lounge and kitchenette. Each bedroom can sleep up to 4 people. There is a shared TV lounge and shared kitchen in a separate block for self-catering. Wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ available. Explore our avocado orchard and landscaped gardens. Relax

We have essential workers staying with us for the horticulture industry and we need to protect our essential worker bubble here.

We are not be able to take any new people until we are out of lockdown.

Hopefully this outbreak will blow over soon and we can look forward to having guests to stay again when we return to normal.

The nights are starting to get cold and there's been a cover up operation happening in the orchard as baby avocado trees get blankets to protect them from the frost.
We have brought the heaters and extra blankets out for our guests too - Stay warm everyone
