It's that time of year again when the Kawhia Art Group hold their Spring Fling Art Festival. This year it is the 10th anniversary and the Kawhia artists have been working hard to show off this great advent. We look forward to seeing you there.

Labour Weekend in Kawhia......so much to see and do. On the 24th,25th,26th in the Community Hall is the annual Spring Fling Art Festival, this is worth the trip alone.....also the Kawhia Rock Karvers will be demonstrating and selling their work. 24th there will be Kapa Haka in Omimiti Reserve and the Primary School will be holding an Auction and selling Hangi lunch. 25th the Boating and Angling Club have their Sweepstake Fishing Contest. KAWHIA.....a great place to be over Labour Weekend !!!

An absolutely beautiful day in Kawhia. Labour weekend is coming up and Kawhia has so much to offer for that weekend.The Kawhia Art group is putting on their annual Spring Fling Art Festival, 24th-26th, all work is made by local artists and is of a high standard. The Kawhia Rock Karvers will also be working close to the Community Hall where the artwork is to be shown. There will be other events going on over the weekend, a fishing contest, auction and hangi and Kupa Haka . I will post these details as I get them. Come to Kawhia we are well worth the trip.
