Ever wondered what’s actually included when you stay at our Alpine Villa in Lake Tekapo? 

From the moment you walk in the door (contactless, so no keys to juggle), you’ve got a fully self-contained kitchen ready to go, coffee machine with pods and milk included, and a king bed in the master for a proper night’s sleep. The second bedroom’s set up with two singles, so there’s room for the whole crew. 

But it’s the views that really make this place special - lake and mountains right there from the living area, and an outdoor table that’s the perfect spot for your morning coffee.

Add in a full bathroom, all the little extras like towels, linen and an iron, plus free on-site parking, and everything’s sorted before you even unpack.

Is this the best place in NZ to visit in winter? ❄️

Lake Tekapo in winter is a different world. Snow dusts the Southern Alps, the lake stays a strange, still turquoise even in the cold, and the Aoraki Mackenzie International Dark Sky Reserve turns properly dark - some of the clearest night skies you’ll find anywhere in New Zealand.
