Recently National Geographic visited the Mackenzie Basin to tell the story of one of the world’s rarest birds- the remarkable Kaki- Black Stilt.

It was an experience about sharing a landscape we care deeply about, and helping shine light on a species found nowhere else on 🌍Earth.

For us, this story captures what makes the Mackenzie Country so extraordinary— vast landscapes, rare wildlife and the feeling of venturing into somewhere truly special.

We’re honoured to see it shared with readers around the world through National Geographic. Read the full article below 🙂

A huge thank you to Luxury Collections & Mackenzie NZ for making this story possible ❤️
