Whether you're travelling solo, catching up with a friend, or simply looking for a quiet start to your day, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy one of Opal's most unique spaces without the private hire price.

🔧 Exciting Improvements Underway 🔧

To help keep our pools warm and running efficiently for years to come, we're installing a brand-new heat exchanger on Thursday 4 June.

As a result, our 25m pool will be closed for the day while the work is completed.

All of our thermal pools, including our private pools and Ramaroa Pool, will remain open as usual.

We appreciate your understanding while we carry out this important upgrade and look forward to welcoming swimmers back into an even better pool experience from Friday.

What a Weekend! 👑

King’s Birthday Weekend has wrapped up, and what a fantastic few days it was.

We were completely full across the holiday park, with guests travelling from near and far to enjoy a relaxing long weekend. It’s always rewarding to see the park buzzing with families, friends, campers and holidaymakers making memories together.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful guests. Your patience, kindness and positive attitude made for a great atmosphere all weekend and reminded us why we love what we do.

We’d also like to recognise our amazing team. Behind every busy weekend is a group of hardworking staff who put in the extra effort to keep everything running smoothly.

As we head into winter, weekends like this are a great reminder that there’s nothing quite like soaking in hot pools while the temperatures drop outside.

Thank you to everyone who spent their long weekend with us. We can't wait to welcome you back soon.

Sneak peek 👀

We’ve been working away behind the scenes on something new for our littlest guests… and we’re pretty excited about it.

This is an early look at our new playground design — a natural, timber-based space that will sit beautifully within the surroundings and give kids a place to explore, climb, balance and play.

Another little winter project for us, with a planned opening in September 🌿

We can’t wait to bring this one to life.

What an incredible achievement from Luke 👏

Luke has been training at Opal for the past two years, showing real commitment — especially with those early mornings.

A few weeks ago, he competed at a regional meet… but just two weeks prior, he had moved up an age group.

The goal — just try to beat his times over the two-day event.

Well… he did that in all seven events 🔥
And to top it off, Luke has now been crowned the fastest 10-year-old in the region for both Butterfly and Individual Medley 🥇

A huge credit to his coach Jess, whose guidance and dedication have clearly made a massive impact — this result is a reflection of her work as much as Luke’s effort.

As for us, we’re just proud to be the venue that gets to support it all and provide a place for that hard work to happen.

We couldn’t be prouder of both Luke and Jess 💙
