An Update from Methven Resort.
From 12th February, our restaurant will be closing as we begin planning for an exciting new chapter at Methven Resort. Later in 2026-2027, the resort will undergo a full and extensive refurbishment, including a fresh and dynamic new Food & Beverage offering that we can’t wait to share with you.

For now, we encourage our guests and community to continue supporting the fantastic local restaurants and cafés Methven has to offer , we are lucky to have such a great food scene right on our doorstep. We look forward to sharing more updates soon as plans progress and to welcoming you back with an exciting new experience. Stay tuned , exciting developments are ahead. ✨

Methven Resort is open for accommodation throughout the holiday season
Patrons Bar & Restaurant will be open Christmas Eve from 4pm til late then closed until Saturday 3rd January to give our team a well deserved break with their family and friends.

What an incredibly busy two weeks the team at Methven Resort have had, from school discos & productions to car clubs and local staff christmas functions to celebrating our local with an incredible feast.
We would like to thank all of our local patrons, regulars & supporters for all your entertainment, stories, support and listening ears at times!
We wish you and your families all a safe and very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

Due to an end of year Christmas function our restaurant will be closed tonight but dont you worry the bar will still be open for service from 4pm.

We apologise for the late notice but the kitchen will be back open for dinner from tomorrow

🚨 Saturday 6th December 🚨

Patrons Bar & Restaurant,Methven Resort will be closed for a large private function.

We apologise to all our regulars and those who were thinking about coming down but due to the private event we unfortunately can't open for normal service.

We will reopen on Sunday and hope to see you then 🙂

Wow the children of Methven Primary School know how to party!! 💃🕺🎉
What an amazing night we had on Tuesday hosting the school disco, with decor and outfits to suit the Resort was transformed into party central.
Thank you to the FoMPS group who took the pressure off us and kept the place tidy during and after the event and to all the parents & caregivers who brought their children along for a fun night.
We would also like to take the opportunity to congratulate all the children on their behavior throughout the evening, you were all well mannered and a pleasure to host 😊
