It was great to share the money raised at this years Charity quiz night with two wonderful charities Western Bay Wildlife Trust & Blood Cancer NZ. Thank you once again to our amazing campers including those who organised the event, donated prizes, and parted with their money! And another huge thanks to the businesses who donated vouchers Classic Flyers NZ, All Seasons Holiday Park - Rotorua, New Zealand, Kewpie Cruises, & H3 Events Hamilton. We so appreciate everyone's enthusiastic support of our charity night and look forward to the next one!

Shortly after our last post, the devastating landslip occurred on Mauao. Our sincere thoughts are with all the families involved, as well as the rescue workers, MAUAO TRUST kaitiaki, and staff of Beachside Holiday Park and Mount Hot Pools. We're sharing the below details encase anyone wishes to make a donation, it's the only help that many of us can give. We also wish to reassure you that the majority of Mt Maunganui is still open for business, but you are required to stay away from the immediate area close to Mauao. Please continue to support our local businesses if you are in the area this weekend or over the coming weeks, many are supporting the rescue teams with food, coffee and more ❤️

Devastating landslides, flooding, and wide-spread damage have impacted communities right across Tauranga Moana and the Western Bay of Plenty.

Just to assure you that all is good here at Cosy Corner for your long weekend camping. Only a few puddles and a very full swimming pool, Greg is cleaning out the leaves as we speak. Weather is improving so we look forward to seeing you if it's safe to travel.
