One of our favourite things about staying in Napier is that you don't always need a plan. Just head out for a wander and start looking up, down and around.

As you explore the city, see how many of these you can spot:

🏛️ Decorative façades
🪟 Original windows and doors
🌊 Nautical details
🌸 Stylised flowers and plants
🔺 Zigzags and strong geometric shapes

🎨 See Hawke’s Bay through the eyes of its artists

If you’re staying at 415 Marine Parade in November, the Hawke’s Bay Arts Trail is one to put on your list.

For two weekends, 7–8 and 14–15 November, artists across the region open the doors to their studios and creative spaces. You can meet painters, potters, sculptors, carvers and other local artists, see where they work and discover the stories behind their creations.

It’s a lovely way to explore a different side of Hawke’s Bay, with open studios, demonstrations, galleries, public art and even Food & Art stops along the way.

And who knows… you might come home with a very special piece of Hawke’s Bay to remember your stay by. 🖼️

A great excuse to spend a weekend exploring beyond the usual tourist trail.

We think staying at 415 Marine Parade means you don’t always need a big plan to have a good morning.

1. 🌊 Take a wander by the water
Fresh air, ocean views and absolutely no emails.
2. 🥐 Find something delicious for breakfast
Because coffee without food is basically just a cry for help.
3. 👟 Go for a spontaneous morning walk
The kind where you say “10 minutes” and somehow end up exploring half the neighbourhood.
4. 🌅 Watch the sunrise
Get up early, find a good spot and watch the day switch on. Totally worth sacrificing a few minutes of sleep.

All before your coffee gets cold. 😉

One of our favourite things to do is Taniwha Daffodils - The Spring opening is really a not to be missed experience with the property blooming with drifts of daffodils, set amongst mature 🌳 and beautiful ponds. You can walk amongst the daffodils, meander your way around the lush gardens while discovering and picking from hundreds of varieties of daffodils. 🌼
It’s a lovely pleasant drive 🚘 from the 415 and our guests all say they loved ❤️ the experience.
