Skotel Alpine Resort is New Zealand’s highest hotel and is located in the heart of the North Island within the Tongariro National Park. From the hotel you can walk to Taranaki Falls, Tama Lakes and Silika Rapids and for those up for a day trail walk, the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Shuttles for the crossing can be booked upon arrival and leave from our doorstep.
