Hello INNBetweeners!
I want to re assure you that we are doing our upmost to keep each and every one of you safe during this pandemic.
Many are you are along way from home with no family around you, the great thing is we have a very close and tight knit family within our hostel. You all treat everyone as family which is great to see, so if someone you see does need support please reach out and help where you can.
I want to re assure you we are also doing our bit to keep each and everyone of you safe while you are in our care, I have listed many of the changes we have made below for you to see and also follow, not only protect yourself but your peers around you.
You may have noticed in the past few weeks some of the changes we have put in place, and some further steps may be put into place as this situation unfolds. This is an unfolding situation with new changes arising each day and more steps may be implemented, however this is what we have put into place to to date;
* Check in procedure; We have been checking all passports, passports that have been stamped less than 14 days ago will be denied entry as you must be in self isolation
*Our hard working staff are sterilising all door handles and surfaces every hour to minimise the spread of covid-19
* Hand soap will be supplied in all bathrooms and we are awaiting hand sanitiser as it has been placed on back order
*We no longer put breakfast out to stop the spread and to decrease the number of people in the kitchen area.
* All dorm rooms will be occupied by half the amount of occupants to ensure 2 meter distancing, each occupant in the room will be on bottom bunks
*Only one person on each lounge suite in the lounge to ensure 2 metre distancing
*Limit of 10 People in the kitchen at any one time
*We have a dedicated room for self isolation if someone becomes symptomatic. Our staff will then follow up with healthline and will follow the necessary steps
