Tasman Bay Backpackers Tasman Bay Backpackers hostel is warm, purpose-built, spacious, very clean and homely. We play 100% Kiwi music. Everyone says it has a nice homely feel to it.

All year round we have free, delicious, homemade hot chocolate pudding and ice cream. From May to October there is a FREE all-you-can-eat winter breakfast, while all year round we've got FREE UNLIMITED Wi-Fi

Outside you'll find a well-used hammock, and an edible garden which includes herbs, grapes, kiwi fruit, feijoas, lemons and more. We also have free bike rental, off-street parking and free l

uggage storage! We are just like your favourite café... a place where genuine and friendly people meet. We're just five minutes' walk from the main street - far enough away to avoid city noise but close enough that it's an easy walk to shops, cafes, etc. We attract a wide variety of nationalities and ages and we try to ensure that everyone feels welcome and enjoys their stay.

Say hi to the core team at Tasman Bay Backpackers. :-)

It's nearly Spring time, and we're excited to see many travelers come and visit us in the upcoming season. During Winter we've been doing lots of painting and maintenance so the hostel is ready for the even busier times. August has been one of the driest months of the year with lots of beautiful crisp Sunny days.
