*****PLEASE NOTE: next Tuesday 7th April if the weather is fine there will be NO POWER at the Park from 9-4pm. If the weather is bad the power outage will be happening the following day on the 8th.*****
We will still be open for campers but the laundry will not be available and payment for sites will need to be by cash or bank transfer.

Here are the current details for the Richmond Park Motorhome Camp as of Oct 2024:

PLEASE NOTE - due to the The Golden Edge Nelson A & P Show the camp will be CLOSED from 18th to 26th November.

Current Camp details:
Non powered: $20 per night (as of 1st May 2024).
Powered: $25 per night - first come basis (as of 1st May 2024).
Payments can be made by EFTPOS (debit only - no credit).
NO permanent sites.
Site Restrictions:
All motor homes requiring a powered site must have a Current Electrical Warrant.
All motor homes must have a Self Containment Sticker.
Maximum stay is 3 months - No permanent sites available.
Dogs are allowed but they must be on leads at all times and doggy doos must be disposed of.
Barking or aggressive dogs will be banned.
Park Gates are closed at 8pm all year round.
Check out time is 11am.
Park closed to motor homes the week before & during the Nelson A&P Show (3rd week of November) as well as the week before & during the January Races.
Vehicle washing is prohibited.
Facilities:
Toilet Block
Self Service Laundry ($4 per wash & $4 per dryer load)
Washing Lines
Recycling
Dump station on site
Grass & Hard Stands available
**NO Showers or Kitchens**

PLEASE NOTE:
Washbourn Gate - Main Entrance to Camp
Restricted Entry from 22nd April until 3rd May

Widening of the entrance to the park will commence next Monday and will take approx. two weeks with restricted use of the entrance for this time.

From the 22nd April please use Gum Gate entrance next to the croquet club and opposite the medical centre.
Once inside the gate turn left and follow the gravel road straight through the woodland, past the sheds to the sealed roadway, turn right and continue to your location. When exiting please follow the same route but in reverse.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Our recent lot of improvements to the Camp have been completed and we now have some hard stands along with a widened road around the sheds allowing for more parking and drainage.
