Today is one of those days that feels incredibly hard to put into words.
After six unforgettable years, we say goodbye to our General Manager, Jayesh. From navigating lockdowns and challenges that seemed never ending, to leading this hotel through growth, change, and countless memorable moments, he has been a huge part of the Novotel Ngāmotu whānau.
What many guests see is a great leader, but what we’ve been lucky enough to know is someone who genuinely cared about his team, our community, and every person who walked through our doors. His passion, resilience, humour, and support have helped shape Novotel Ngāmotu into what it is today.
Taranaki will miss you, and so will we.
Thank you for the memories, the leadership, the laughs, and everything you have given over the last six years. We wish you and your whānau nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter. Hamilton are lucky, because they’re not just gaining a General Manager, they’re gaining someone who leads with heart, resilience, and genuine care for people.

A note from Jayesh: "Leaving this hotel and Taranaki is much harder than we expected. The community we’ve built here has shown us so much support, kindness and manaakitanga over the years, and I’ll never forget that.
What I’ll take with me most are the people. To our guests, locals, partners, every single team member past and present, and of-course our owners, thank you. Ngā mihi nui for the support over the last six years. It has truly meant the world to me.
