Late Autumn harvest. Rocket / arugula, spinach, silverbeet / Swiss chard, chillies, capsicum / peppers, basil and tomatoes. Final feijoas and@all of the citrus is fattening up. Loving the connection with nature and our plates and pukus!

Happy Taranaki Anniversary! We love sharing the best of this region with our guests. Hikes on the mountain, walks along our coastal walkway, swims in the sea, meals at our gorgeous restaurants, visits to galleries or events…cheers to this vibrant and beautiful place.

Thank goodness we made the leap to move to New Zealand. That one scary decision has created a gorgeous life together, a business we love and wild happiness. Happy Valentine’s Day - May we all take wild steps in life in the name of love.

Breakfast time at the House - when the garden flowers match your breakfast edition. This morning was breads, cereals and House made granola, House made marmalade and strawberry jam, omelet’s made with .obsession eggs and House grown veggies, and bacon. Our guests from the Netherlands, England and Germany enjoyed the feast!

Right outside Eltham is the amazing scenic reserve. It’s a magical, 230ha pest free reserve with amazing trails and a stunning lake. Native bush and a thriving native ecosystem. The birdsong is amazing.

It’s the last night of the It’s a stunner this year and we love hearing guests feedback at breakfast each morning. We are so lucky to have this amazing festival just a block@from the House. Thanks to the amazing NPDC staff who make the magic happen each summer!!!

Our coastal walkway has some great local cafes. Just a 5k route from the house will take guests past Paris Plage and The Fitzroy Beach Kiosk and The Little Easy - Container Cafe and can end with the stunning Te Rewa Rewa bridge. We have complimentary bikes to use or a walk - guests are amazed at how close the walkway is and how fabulous.
