Built originally for the Headmaster of the local Westown School, this home has had some major restoration work done to bring it into the 21st Century. It is elevated and extremely private, has direct Mountain views and is just over the road from the Westown shopping strip. On entry to this place, you feel the warmth and character the owners have captured with their unique style and presentation of the property. It is full of tasteful treasures, charm, and refined elegance. Distinguished on Dartmoor sits in a very commanding position, elevated high above the surrounding properties giving it an air of exclusivity. This holiday home provides all the required household amenities needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It boasts a stunning open plan kitchen and dining area that flows through to the lounge and keeps communication easy and enjoyable. It is full of timeless features. From the cushion topped bay window seat, you can enjoy the view of the cottage garden, and on a good day you have a clear and wonderful coastal vista. This home is filled with treasures collected by the owners, things that you wouldn’t normally find in a holiday place, beautiful china and glassware and great attention has been given to every little detail. If you are looking for some time out from your busy schedule and you are wanting something a ‘ bit special ‘ then this might be for you. Soak in the lovely deep bath using the Epsom salts provided, listen to some nice music and cuddle up by the fire on a cold winter night. A Wander across the road will take you to various eating places, bars and shops and if you really want to stretch out, a walk to the CBD will take just 20 mins. At the end of the day, melt into the super king size bed in the luxurious Grand Master Bedroom, or enjoy the tranquillity of the blue bedroom and the extremely comfortable queen bed. Take a moment to relax on the wonderful front porch with a breakfast coffee or an afternoon wine and admire the views of the garden and neighbouring trees. This holiday home is fully equipped and comes with top quality linen and towels, electric blankets, dishwasher, washing machine, unlimited WI-FI large screen TV, double garage with internal access, two toilets, plenty of firewood over the winter months and lots of interesting books to lose yourself in. It is suitable for either one or two couples. Distinguished on Dartmoor is sadly not suitable for children under ten years old. We have some special conditions with this special property: It's a no parties place, you are limited to visits of two people only at any one time. No additional guests are able to stay beyond those booked. No smoking on the property please and no pets allowed. What we do offer you, is a comfortable quality break.
