An entry in our guest book from two couples from Auckland who discovered Oamaru on the Seven Sharp - Sharpest Town programme from last year. They stayed for a couple of days last week. Two questions their Auckland friends asked were ...'where is Oamaru?' and 'why Oamaru?' ! They certainly explored the town & district- from Duntroon, Elephant Rocks, The Fossil Trail to Oamaru's Victorian Precinct, all the Art Galleries, Cucina 1871 , Riverstone Kitchen & Fleurs at Moeraki. They even knew the Railway Station was for sale! They will be back with more friends!
