Beyond Expectation - One of the Best in Oamaru

Stayed here for 3 nights since the whole of Dunedin is fully booked because of the Ed Sheeran concert. A blessing in disguise, Oamaru is such a lovely, quirky, unexpectedly delightful place to spend 4 days in. Highfield Mews added to our delight, the motel is centrally located, just a few minutes walk (or drive) to the town centre, the Blue Penguin colony and the Victorian precinct and it’s many cafes, art galleries and shops as well as the Whitestone cheese factory.
The room is very clean and serviced daily. The toiletries are very nice, we love soaking in the spa bath after a tiring day out. There’s a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, stove and complete cooking and eating utensils.
The Easter egg chocolates left on our door on Easter Sunday was a nice touch to end our stay. We will definitely stay again when in Oamaru.More
