We stayed at Ohaupo Olives for a week while working in Hamilton. Liz and Roger were warm and welcoming from the start, nothing was a bother. They managed to achieve the fine balance of always being available for advice or a chat when we needed them without being obtrusive.
The house is newly built, and even in June the house was warm and cosy. The rooms were spacious and immaculate, with views of the olive grove. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and at least one of our groups was wowed by the linen sheets.
We were spoilt for choice for breakfast, with a range of continental breakfast options as well as freshly made pancakes. We were well set up for the working day. There was a separate guest lounge, but by the end of the week there was a sing-a-long in the main lounge/dining area. When we left at the end of the week it felt like we were leaving family.
I highly recommend Ohaupo Olives.
