Ohawe Beach Camp Kia ora and welcome to the Ohawe Beach Camp. Ohawe Beach Camp is well signposted along South Road (Surf Highway 45). If you do, then ask one of the locals.

We are a family camping ground offering the unspoilt camping delights of the South Taranaki coastline, and to prove the point about 'unplugging', you won't get a cellphone service at our campsite!! Turn onto Ohawe Road (the only road in and out of the Ohawe) and you can't get lost. To further prove our un-plugged-ness, there is no garage, dairy or fish and chip shop in the village so all of your s

hopping needs can be met by visiting the Hawera township. Our region has a rich history and it's ready for you to discover so unplug and come and stay with us.
