How We Got Here.

Earlier in the year 2019 three lovely ladies at Seddon in the South Island of New Zealand decided they would like a lifestyle change after many years of toiling at their respective careers. After some time looking at different opportunities and prospects they found what had once been for many years the local hotel in the small township of Ohingaiti on State Highway One in the Rangitikei district of the North Island. The property had been through a number of hands over the years and the current owner had been operating it as a truck stop before putting it on the market. After appropriate research and a site inspection the Seddon ladies decided this was what they had been looking for so they packed up everything (including 2 dogs and a handyman/maintenance person) and made the move north.

After 2 months of toil renovating and fitting out (not to mention jumping through bureaucratic hoops) the cafe/diner and accommodation operations of the new enterprise were open for business and operating with good support from locals. Work continues to get the sports bar section presentable and open which the local community seem most enthusiastic about.
