New beds and bedding throughout - getting ready for the upcoming 2023/24 Rail Trail season.

Temperatures are dropping sharply now – it was 0 degrees this morning with a heavy frost; and getting colder every day. Accordingly we have now closed for the winter months, after a very busy summer season.
Thank you to all of our guests that stayed this season, and I hope you enjoyed your rail trail experience as much as I did when I did it, and that you were happy with the accommodation we provided. Don’t forget to honestly review us on TripAdvisor, if you haven’t already.
We have had guests from all over the world this season, not just Kiwi’s like in our previous two seasons. Many many of our Aussie cousins from across the ditch, as well as lots of guests from the US, Canada, all over the UK, and even some from Europe (shout out to Germany, Netherlands, and Sweden).
We’re re-opening for business mid-August (still very cold, and maybe snow, if you’re considering it). If you’re looking to book for next season, please send me an email or an enquiry through our website to check on accommodation availability.

Racing finished ages ago. Now the well behaved queues (some with excellent music blaring) keep on coming. The one day of the year you can’t get a park in Omakau!
