And just like that, the season is coming to an end. We have been fairly quiet on here this season, but we have been flat tack meeting some awesome guests stay with us this year!

A lot more international guests, from Alaska to Scotland it’s been amazing to be a part of people’s adventure.

Our last guests bike in this weekend, and then we close the doors until Spring. Thank you to all our guests, as well as our epic rail trail operators!

We are so excited to have partnered with Tree Range and Old Mill Free Range to retail chicken and stock feed in the Wānaka area. This feed is absolutely wonderful, in cardboard compostable packaging, Southland made and GMO free. We have also found it to be cheaper and much higher quality than other pellet feeds available in the area! We are selling it from our small farm shop located at 481 Camp Hill Rd, please message for pick up details 🙂

Our girls are pasture raised and may even have too much freedom on their hands as I heard one pecking at the door this morning! Don’t worry about them getting too cold, they get warm porridge on cold days…

Very happy to see the sun today after last weeks hoar frosts! After snow, hoar frosts and dipping down to -8, it was a cold start to winter ❄️

A few things on the agenda here this week: plant some more garlic now that the brassicas didn’t survive the minus temps, cover some more soil, start renovations to Kāhu Room.

March was our busiest month yet, forever grateful for everyone that chose to stay here on their adventures.

Our season will be ending May 15 so if you are looking for an autumnal adventure you still have some time to book.
