Hi Millfield Cottage friends! ☺️
Nana Mary is taking a well earned break from being a cottage host in 2022 to do some of her favourite things - spending time with family and friends, being a nana, gardening and sewing 🌸🌿☺️

We won’t be taking any new bookings from now (Please note - all confirmed bookings are honoured and safe, we’re just not taking new bookings)

A huge thank you to all our wonderful guests who Nana Mary has hosted over the last 14 years!! It has been a pleasure meet you, and to share our little piece of Central Otago paradise. We will update you when Mary is ready to take future bookings.

Awesome news. Yay for Central Otago! ☀️🚴🏻

We're pleased to announce NZ's Favourite Places to Cycle 2016 supreme winner is Otago Central Rail Trail!

The competition was fierce, with almost 10,000 votes cast, but the 'original great ride' came out on top.

Congratulations also to the category winners: The Redwoods (Off-Road or Adventure Ride), Napier (Urban Trail or Commute) and Taupo & surrounds (On-Road Ride).

The Lonely Planet Guide has named 's Otago Central Rail Trail one of 75 Great Escapes from around the world!...

Otago Central Rail Trail Trust chairwoman Kate Wilson thinks it is ''absolutely brilliant'' the 150km route has been named as one of 75 Great Escapes in Lonely Planet's latest publication of the same name.
