Yesterday we welcomed to our fruit forest 30 tamariki from the local full Maori language immersion Omarumutu School. The junior school learnt a little of organics, what we grow on this property, compost heaps and fruit sampling. An absolute pleasure for us to experience and gain insight into this elevation of Maori culture within the NZ public education system.
