Hi there,
I have an important question I would like to ask to guests who have stayed with us and also those who haven't.
We're trying to decide between locally supplied recycled toilet paper and the higher quality multi-ply variety.
(I know it's a minor thing in the scheme of things but I want to check it with our guests before deciding.)
The problem with the recycled paper is that it disintegrates easily. It is not very good quality and may be inconvenient for some of our guests.
But it is cheaper, and environmentally friendly, and supports a local business in the process. The savings we make allow us to pass on a lower tariff to our guests.
The other paper is higher quality but costs more and is probably not very environmentally friendly. Nonetheless we have to think about the preferences of all our guests, and find a type that is good for all of them, not just some of them.
If you have some thoughts on this I'd greatly appreciate you sharing them, or messaging me directly if you prefer. Would you rather stay at a motel with lower quality paper if you knew it was good for the environment?
