Hello Ōtaki

Littel Ōtaki Motel in Dunstan Street is looking to employee at least one part-time housekeeper to join our team.

Hours of work are generally 9.30am till early afternoon, depending on how busy we are. Some flexibility around days of work, but you will need to be available at least one weekend day.

Do you remember Monica from Friends? How she loved to clean and tidy everything for everyone? We’re looking for an Otaki Monica to join our housekeeping team.

Meet Mark. Driven by business success and fueled by entrepreneurial spirit. He’s a quiet-but-fantastically-minded kind of guy, and another of our Elevate committee members.

After he and his wife Anna spent 15-odd years of building good quality, smart accommodation in Wellington city, their minds started whirring in support of their next big idea.

“We love the hospitality industry, but being on site every day for most of the day meant we weren’t able to spend much time together. We thought ‘there must be a better way to do this’.”

And they were right. Combining their experience, inspiration from living and working in Europe, and Mark’s tech-savvy mind, Littel Otaki was born.
