A story from one of the Renegades last night.
This incident happened on the Hikamutu road, Taumarunui yesterday.
A hunter came out of the bush and headed towards the road, it happened to be the ostrich paddock and the ostrich took to him. He saw a cyclist coming up the road and called for help. The cyclist asked what he should do. " Grab it's neck and pull it through the fence and hold it there" The hunter then could jump the fence. "What do I do now, " asked the cyclist. "Let it go". The hunter had rakes down his back and cuts on his head.
Well done Renegade.

Our motel has now got a queen bed and single bed in the bedroom and double bed in the lounge area. In the lodge we have a double bed in Room 1, a set of bunks in Room 2, two king singles in Room 4. You will be sharing the common areas with us unless prior arrangement is made for booking the whole lodge.
There is plenty of room for tents for the TA walkerswho share the common areas in the lodge.
We look forward to seeing everyone in 2022.
