To Our Valued Guests and Friends,
As we prepare to say goodbye to Oxford Queenette Backpackers, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has stayed with us, shared stories, and made this place so special.
Whether you came for a night or a month, from around the corner or across the world, your presence brought life, laughter, and energy to our home. We’ve loved meeting travellers from all walks of life—students, cyclists, seasonal workers, solo wanderers, and adventurous families—and we’re so grateful to have been a small part of your journey.
Over the years, this little backpackers grew beyond just accommodation. It became a place where connections were made, meals were shared, and lasting memories were created. Your kind reviews, helpful feedback, and thoughtful conversations helped us continuously improve and made every effort worthwhile.
We’re proud to have created a clean, friendly, and affordable home away from home here in Oxford—and none of it would have been possible without your support.
Now, it’s time for us to retire and pass on the torch. From 15 September 2025, new owners will take over the backpackers and bring their own energy and vision to the place. We’re confident they’ll continue to offer the warm hospitality you’ve come to expect.
While we’ll no longer be running the day-to-day operations, we’ll still be around online at queenettedairy.online, supporting the new owners and continuing to serve the Oxford community in new ways.
