Edelweiss Motel, Paihia is looking for a Motel Manager. The role is full time and requires someone with these personal attributes:

* A positive, charismatic attitude
* Ability to engage warmly with guests and staff
* Innovative and growth focussed
* Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* High standards of personal presentation
* The ability to get the best and see the best in others.
* A genuine appreciation of this spectacular and special area of New Zealand
* Physically fit and able
* Can work under pressure and achieve targets

The role requires the following specific skills:
* The aspirant must be ready to move to Paihia.
* Previous relevant experience in the accommodation and guest services sector will be an excellent addition but not compulsory.
* Knows an efficient use of Computer, software related to hospitality and accommodation industry, including social media platforms
* Competent overseeing of all motel operations and a willingness and ability to physically work in all areas of the roles.
* Ensure full compliance with motel practices and operations including Health and Safety
* Manage on going profitability of the motel ensuring revenue and guest service targets are met and exceeded.
* Improve, create and promote products and services offered
* Understand and correctly interpret instructions, procedures and information.
* Sound people management including staff, guests, contactors and others
