Sticky Beak Creek It had taken us three years to find our little slice of Paradise and we were very excited to be finally moving in. Lots has happened since then. Lots!

Sticky Beak Creek is a picturesque two acre property
with a native bush clad stream (creek) winding past, newly planted orchards and three paddocks that surround the house. At the end of June 2014, my husband and I, our dog Amba and three chickens left the hussle and bussle of Auckland city for the quieter paced life of the countryside. We have learned many lessons too. The very first, a very good

piece of advice from our neighbour Cliff, was that wherever there is live stock there is dead stock! We soon learnt that good things really do take time; patience really is a virtue; and to NEVER under estimate the intelligence of a duck! This is Sticky Beak Creek.
