Some more of our wonderful Te Mahia crew all set and ready for action for another busy summer season here in the Kenepuru Sound. Spot two of our awesome staff now resident in the Shetland Islands, who might just be returning to say a quick hi around Christmas time!
Call in to see us for coffee n cake, a meal at Tinkers from Labour Weekend onwards, or even better still - a night or two in our beautiful accommodation right on the waterfront. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Exciting times ahead this summer as we welcome two new members to our Te Mahia team. Justine and Maelle are visiting our beautiful country from France and will be here for the summer. Keep a look out for them around the Resort and also working in our Tinkers Kitchen which will open at Labour Weekend.

Not long after changing the sign to open we had our first guests through the door for coffee yesterday! There’s something pretty special about that first coffee, first chat and first friendly faces of the season!

Stunning day to be working in the garden!
Decks water blasted ready for our summer season to begin. Mum n dad’s memorial seat, has had a beautiful makeover (thanks to Glenn Cockburn) Spring flowers are in full bloom.

🌟 MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO JANN & TREV! 🌟
A huge thank you to Jann & Trev from Te Mahia Bay Resort, along with their trusty sidekick Leon, for setting up and running our amazing cafe all weekend!
Not only did they take on this huge job, but they're also proud Highland Dance grandparents, making their contribution even more special 😉

A massive thank you as well to all of our incredible parent helpers who volunteered their time throughout the weekend and generously donated home baking. We truly couldn't have done it without you.

A special shout out to Hannah from Koffie Mobile for generously keeping everyone caffeinated by donating all of our coffee and the coffee machine for the weekend. Your support was so appreciated! ☕

A big thank you as well to Meaters of Marlborough Ltd for generously donating meat for our cafe and tomorrow night's Ceilidh. Your support is hugely appreciated! 🥩

From fresh salads and hot pies to cheese rolls, delicious home baking, slices, and those much needed hot coffees, an enormous amount of work went into keeping everyone well fed and fuelled. It certainly didn't go unnoticed.
Thank you all for your generosity, hard work, and for helping make the NZ Championships such a fantastic weekend!

We're not finished yet! We're still here at the Whitehaven Theatre theatre all day today and for most of tomorrow, so come on down, grab a coffee or a bite to eat from the cafe, and support our amazing senior dancers as they take to the stage. We'd love to see you there! 💃☘️
