The Lake Hayes track wraps right around the water, and in spring it's all fresh green, blossom and mirror-still mornings. A gentle couple of hours - and yes, you've absolutely earned the hot tub afterward.

Central Otago's spring produce is hard to beat this time of year. Grab it fresh from the market, cook it however you like, and eat it with a view that'll upstage the meal. Slow mornings and long dinners were made for this.
