You can book direct or grab a ticket on line.
Booking guarantees you a spot but we are happy to accommodate last min bookings if we have the capacity.

Monday special 😋
Happy hour has been extended until 6pm!
Given the weather we think Mulled wine will have to be available at happy hour until the end of winter, nothing beats sipping a hot drink by a roaring fire 🔥 🍷 , unless it’s a steaming bowl
Of pasta or a delicious seafood chowder with garlic bread!

A little update …. Our trip to Blackball was brilliant. The town did itself proud. The 3 pubs tag teamed like pros. Locals volunteered left right and centre! Kate’s didn’t just come from Reefton, they came from Greymouth, Hokitika and across the motu. Whoever was in charge of mulled wine got that spot on for the large number who were in the final dance 💃 🍷 It started in Brighton, UK with Shambush doing the first version at the fringe festival. Next year I will put the call out again and try to fill a 40 seater bus. The call will go out early and we will make a day and night of it.
We were made to feel very welcome by Meg, her team, and the whole town!

Huge thanks to Trudy and Geoff from Geoff Nieman brewing and Mark from Shortjaw brewing. We are really happy with the new layout having all the beer taps together and the system working so well.
Ray Kelly is doing an excellent job with the bar fit out with a combination of problem solving and excellent building skills.
Thor and the team at ATL have managed to fit us in to their already full days. Every job they do is excellent!
And the same with Josh who even brought his much needed plumbing skills to the job on Materiki.
Hamish Cook got the lights on the beer taps working - a real Mr Fix it!
Scott Edwards is there helping everyone achieve their jobs and when they have each done their part he will give it the final magic painters touch to tie it all in together.
Lisa Montgomery suggested ages ago that we make more of a sports bar from our pool and darts area we are grateful for her vision as we get closer to the end goal.
Our other design advisor, M**f, told us locals like a bar they can sit at. We are about half way there at the moment!
Lexie has had more training in beer system maintenance from Neiman Brewing. Her skills are now up there with the best! She has the knowledge and the toolkit!
We are confident that the discerning beer drinker will see the beautiful pour they now get and taste the quality beer they deserve.

Who: everyone who enjoys Kate Bush “Wuthering heights”, a good day out, visiting beautiful Blackball. Getting to know more of your Reefton neighbours
Why : life is for living, fun keeps you vital

We would love to get a group of 40 to fill the bus. The most Wuthering day ever happens all over the world where groups of women get together to dance like Kate, dress like Kate and generally have a good time. Our neighbours in Blackball are putting this event on, all welcome.
Your seat is booked when you pop in and pay $20 for your seat. If we fill the bus there will be a couple of bucks returned pp.
this is why we get winter,
So that we can get together with old friends, make new friends and generally have some shenanigans.
