Everyone loves a before & after shot 🙌

We’ve been loving the progress Logan Jensen] has been making on the DH Track and seeing our local Groms showing us how to ride it!

Huge kudos goes to Logan for establishing a solid relationship with key stakeholders in the forest, including & Timberlands and making this refurbishment a possibility! Some epic mahi has been put in behind the scenes for sure.

There are loads of new features so what do they say? Pre-Ride, Re-Ride & Free-Ride 🤘

Just a heads up for anyone wanting to live the dream with a trout fishing trip at the Fidgety Fantail Lake Tarawera l to shake their covid blues away .... ( remember you can fish from the shoreline ..)

Opening dates set to change for lakes Tarawera, Rotoiti and Okataina

The traditional opening dates for lakes Tarawera, Rotoiti and Okataina are set to change for the new season. While the new fishing season will commence on the 1st of October as always, lakes Tarawera, Rotoiti and Okataina won’t be open until the Saturday following, which this year will be Saturday the 2nd. This regulation excludes the winter shoreline areas which remain open all year to shore based fly and spin fishing.

The Eastern Fish and Game Council has introduced the change so that anglers who normally work weekdays will be able to enjoy the opening more often, and by having it on the weekend hope that it will create more of a carnival atmosphere for all.

The rest of the Rotorua lakes will open on the 1st (Friday) as normal, as will many of the rivers and streams throughout the country. Anglers are reminded to check their new season regulation guides provided with their licence or available on-line from the Fish & Game web page.
