50 days to go… and time is flying!
The renovation hustle is real – we’ve been so busy, we barely noticed how fast the days have passed.
But amidst all the chaos, we remind ourselves to pause… to admire the golden leaves, the dreamy skies, and nature growing wild and free – untouched by the noise of the world.

Everything is slowly coming together. Everything is getting better.

The countdown is on – just 54 days to go until we reopen our doors at Alpin Motel Rotorua!🎉

It’s been all hands on deck lately – paintbrushes flying, tools clanking, and more coffee than we care to admit. But we’re getting there! The rooms are getting a fresh new look, the spa and pool are sparkling, and the BBQ area is ready for stories.

We’re so excited to welcome you back – whether you’re a familiar face or a first-time guest, we’ve missed you. Thanks for your patience, support, and kind messages along the way.

Alpin Motel Renovation Diaries: The Great Autumn Cleanup Parade! 🍂🚗

Autumn is the season of harvest—and boy, did we harvest a LOT… of leaves. Nature really came through with the gifts this year.

Armed with our trusty little cart (aka our royal chariot), we loaded it up with piles of leafy treasures and cruised through the garden like it was our very own jungle parade.

Who says you have to be on a Disney float to be a princess? We’re out here, working hard, driving our leafy cart, and absolutely radiating beauty, brains, and broom energy. Royalty comes in many forms, okay?🤣

🏡🔨 Alpin Motel Renovation Diaries: The Backyard Adventure! 🌿

Today, we bravely ventured into the wild (aka our backyard) for an epic cleanup mission that tested both our strength and nerves:
✅ Repaired the ponga fence – feeling like DIY pros… or at least we hope so!
✅ Cleared out years’ worth of leaves and branches – pretty sure we unearthed some prehistoric foliage. 🦕🍂
✅ Went on a jungle treasure hunt… and discovered what might be the biggest spider in New Zealand 🕷️😱 (turns out it was just a toy! Who put that there?! 🤣)

Exhausted but victorious, we thought we had nothing left in the tank—until that unexpected heart attack made us even more drained! But hey, the backyard is now fresh, clean, and ready for action! 🌿✨

Alpin Motel’s grand opening is just around the corner, and we’re working hard every day to get everything perfect. Stay tuned—we can’t wait to welcome you! 💙

🔑 The Story of a Lock 🔑

Sometimes, it’s the smallest details that make the biggest difference. Our original door locks? Well, they didn’t quite meet our perfectionist standards! So, what did we do? We stayed up late, called the factory, and had a custom lock made just for us. 🚪✨

With a little bit of hustle, a whole lot of teamwork, and an overnight delivery relay, the new locks made it on the last flight to Auckland—just in time for the grand installation. 🚁💨

We believe in the power of perfection, and no detail is too small. We can’t wait for everything to be finished so we can welcome you to a new, elevated Alpin Motel experience!
