Our camp is on 13ha of peninsula at Ruakaka. Waterfront sites with beach views. Tennis court, kitchens, playground, laundries, toilets, showers. We are a very clean, friendly and family orientated campground in park-like grounds with 240 powered sites, 94 tent sites and 9 backpacker-style cabins. We are halfway between Auckland and the Bay of Islands. Safe swimming at a patrolled beach & safe estuary.

This weekend our neighbours in Waipu are hosting their King’s Birthday Weekend Street Market, with the Ashgrove Road Slow Fashion Market joining in at the Coronation Hall.

Pop over this Sunday from 9am-2pm to enjoy local stalls, slow fashion, great finds, and a lovely community atmosphere! ✨

As the colder months roll in, we’ve adjusted our hours to give our team a little more time at home on those chilly winter evenings.

Fridays are still our busiest day, so we’ve kept our closing time at 7pm to allow extra time for later check-ins and arrivals. Thanks for your understanding and continued support over winter 💙
