Bay of Islands Holiday Homes was established in 2005 and is located in the immediate Russell area. We specialize in Holiday Home Rentals in Russell and strive to offer a professional friendly service to assist our guests in arranging the perfect holiday home to suit their needs. We provide a selection of QUALMARK endorsed, Executive/Luxury & Family & Couples Accommodation options. BOIHH manages all deposits and balance payments via a secure online booking engine which ensures guests funds are safe. We hold all guests money in a dedicated Trust Account until after the booking, the monies are then forwarded to the property owner. If a guest cancels the booking they are refunded their money from the Trust Account - this refund is governed by our Terms & Conditions of Rental. Payment by credit card on our secure payment portal with BOIHH ensures your details are safely stored. We also follow the strict protocol for credit card management as set in place by our provider Windcave. Cam has a background as a superyacht captain & Donna has extensive sales & marketing experience, together we bring our strong business acumen as well as our passion for people & great service to offer both our guests & property owners a seamless experience. The Great Race North is almost upon us, finishing in Russell this Labour Weekend!

This is the 44th PIC Coastal Classic, with crews setting sail from Devonport, Auckland, on Friday the 23rd of October. Teams will cover 119 nautical miles up the east coast to finish off at Russell Wharf in the beautiful Bay of Islands, with the fastest boats potentially arriving in under six hours!

Whether you're sailing, crewing, or coming to watch the fleet arrive, we have a holiday home waiting for you ashore.

"We had the best family holiday at A Sandy Jandal and already had a family discussion that it will be a place we return to. The place is clean, uplifting and has all the utilities/services you need. It’s close to local cafes/shops/beaches and jetty for boat trips. The pool and spa was a lovely place to spend time too. I’d highly recommend driving to local beaches and walks to soak up the nature. A Sandy Jandal is a gorgeous, 3-5 bedroom holiday home located in the heart of Russell, within walking distance to the beach and must-visit local icons like The Duke of Marlborough and Hone's Garden!

The vacation rental has been professionally designed and decorated with three bedrooms in the main house, along with an additional two bedrooms in the separate annex, making it perfect for family holidays or groups of friends. Guests also enjoy use of the communal, Russell Cottages Collection facilities, including a heated swimming pool, spa pool, children’s playground, BBQ area and pool room with toilets and kitchen.

The five bedrooms, A Sandy Jandal comfortably sleeps up to ten guests and has all the amenities you'd expect from a Bay of Islands Holiday Home, including smart TV, complimentary WIFI, coffee machine and more. The upstairs master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom, while the second and third bedrooms feature a queen-sized bed and two single beds. The adjoining annexe has two additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom for guests. One bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds as well as an additional pullout single trundler bed.

Accommodating up to 14 guests across 6 bedrooms, the property is under 100m from the boat ramp, beach and provides easy access for people arriving by boat.

The house is self-catering with a large, farmhouse-style dining area, indoor fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, covered front deck and spacious rear deck that is perfect for enjoying the morning sun while you eat your breakfast.

The upper-level master suite also has ocean views looking across Kororāreka Bay and the Russell anchorage from the private sitting area with french doors opening out to the balcony.
