We've had a number of guests this week 'rave' about our bed, both in person and in their reviews.
Our NZ guests even admitted to checking out the mattress set up to see if they could replicate this at home. If that's not a massive compliment, I don't know what is!
Given our location we weren't able to easily access beds to try out in store, before curating all the pieces. (No repurposing old beds or duvets or anything at DuxHouse BnB). A lot of reading, research, and time went into creating the set up.
Our bed features a no. 4 firm Sleepmaker (Onslow series) mattress (and base), which is great for overall support. It is topped with an Ardor mattress topper (high loft - 1500gsm), adding a soft touch. The duvet inner is a Woolrest inner (600gsm), keeping you cool in summer and toasty in winter. With its weight it almost feels like an extra light weighted blanket. The bed head is a velvet custom piece by Two Little Angels. All our sheets, duvet covers, and pillow cases are 100% cotton, guaranteeing a good night's sleep.
