It is with great sadness to announce that my airbnb, Takapau Yurt Experience, has closed its doors for business.

I wish to thank each and every one of my fabulous guests I have hosted over the last 5 years, my friends, family and the local Takapau community who helped spread the word to make it the most enjoyable and rewarding little business.

I will forever be extremely grateful and proud of the space and energy I created with my beautiful Yurt here. 💫

For now dear canvasy friend, I guess it's time for you to live packed in a garage for a few years until we can reinvent you and show the world your beauty once more 🌱🦋💕

The 6m diametre yurt itself is fully insulated with heating. Read the reviews to see how cozy people say it is in winter! 😊🔥

Breakfast is included, free Wi-Fi and towels & toiletries are provided.
The guest bathroom is located within the main house with seperate access.

My onsite foodtruck also offers a delicious hearty homecooking dinner options (at additional cost) meaning you are free to relax and unwind without having leave.

Welcome to Takapau Yurt Experience based in Central Hawke's Bay.

The 6m diameter yurt is located next to the main house on our 42 acre sheep farm.
The yurt is fully insulated and has a small kitchenette, power, wifi and heating.
Sleeps up to 6.
Guest bathroom located inside the main with separate access.
Breakfast included and dinner available at extra cost from our onsite foodtruck.

Approx $120 for 2 guests per night with additional guest charges for larger groups.
