"The food was outstanding, Pen is an inspired chef, there is love in all her food which is expressed in the flavor and in the sense of pleasure and wellness you feel during and after dining. The evening meal progressed over a 2 hour period in which we were swept away on a culinary journey combining Thai, Japanese and New Zealand cuisine. It was delightful."⁠

"We have just come back from a beautiful three days at Split Apple Retreat. It exceeded all our expectations. It is superbly luxurious, with spacious rooms and the most stunning outlook over the Tasman Bay. There is a heated infinity pool, a Detox Box, a sauna, massage therapist, cinema, meditation and yoga sessions and your own private deck. But what really this trip for us was that it has the personal touch. The owners and staff were all the most incredible people and have created something special in an area of paradise.
