Phew! To say it’s been a busy — and incredibly exciting — summer would be an understatement.

Over the past couple of months, we’ve celebrated our relationship by getting married among the tōtara cathedral at the back of the farm, surrounded by a small group of close friends and family. Just a few days later, we hosted the fabulous Naked in the Trees festival — a beautiful celebration of life, love, diversity, and bodies.

Amongst all of this, we also held a riding retreat and presented our young stallion and his progeny for assessment with the NZ Warmblood Association Inc, receiving incredible feedback and some top scores — something we’re immensely proud of.

And the fun hasn’t stopped yet! In the coming weeks, we’ll be hosting a group of horse riders for a week-long riding holiday, welcoming a group of air rifle enthusiasts for a weekend gathering, and facilitating a workshop led by our friend Luke called Qu**rs on the Land — an opportunity for men of diverse genders and sexualities to come together on the land and build connection.

Amidst it all, we remain open to new offerings and gatherings — if something sparks your interest, we’d love to hear from you. We can’t wait for the next adventure together ❤️

After two years of pushing to eradicate the feral goat infestation on the farm, we have just welcomed these seven boys on to help us keep the paddocks tidy and manage the weeds. They look pretty happy to be pruning the rough gully’s out for us! 🤩 Thanks for entrusting us with your beloved boys, Liz!

These guys are tame and fence trained. We’ll be keeping you posted about how they go.

We’ve been loving hosting some of you on the Te Araroa this season.
We wanted to give a little extra shout out to Doug who’s been staying with us the last couple of nights. Doug’s putting in an extra effort in aid of KidsCan.

“My names Dougie and I'm currently walking the Te Araroa Trail, Not only am I walking the trail, but I'm also carrying two sets of golf clubs the entire way, raising some money for KidsCan.
