About Us

Hello! we are retiring dairy farmers who wanted something else to do once we had managers on the farm. Graham (Fred) has been farming since he was born..I (Donna) have been in hospitality since I left school. We purchased our home here in beautiful Taupo with hosting as a Bed and Breakfast in mind and found this perfect bird filled relaxing sanctuary in 2 Mile Bay, opening in September 2019.

Having traveled quite abit to a few countries including around Europe America Australia and the Pacific Islands we realise when we come home how beautiful our country truly is! We love meeting people from all over the world and all walks of life. Everyone has a story and favorite place and everyone’s is different. We love to share stories over a wine or beer or cup of tea.

We have a ratbag little Maltese Sh*tzu cross named Elvis, so we also accept fur babies in our BnB as we understand how hard it is to find somewhere you can bring your fur babies when you go on holiday. Elvis loves meeting new playmates!

We have 2 rooms, a queen room with full bathroom including a bathtub, this room has no TV and a King Room with en-suite, this room has a TV. There is a shared Tea/Coffee room with bar fridge. Free WiFi and breakfast included. Access to large gardens and patio area. 400m to the Lake.
