Taupo is the central spot to everything 🙌 . We are lucky enough to be have a few guests arriving this weekend for this epic tournament ⚽️👏 and look forward to welcoming them 🫶

It’s kick-off for the McCartney Invitational Tournament - Taupo AFC this Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October. 🧨

Three glorious days of footy action will see 127 boys and girls football teams descend on Taupō’s Crown Park. That’s over 650 games of football !

📆 Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October
📍 Crown Park, Taupō
⚽ Goals galore!

This is THE largest junior football tournament in Australasia and run by our very own Taupō AFC. Go and support them if you can, it’s always a great day out for the whānau.

Games run throughout the day so pop along and cheer on the tamariki.

🥅 Please be aware there will be lots of activity and traffic on Crown Road and the surrounding area. Reduce your speeds and keep a careful eye out for competitors and supporters as they make their way to and from the tournament.

We hope everyone involved has a fantastic time! 🎊
