💚 Greening Taupō Day 2026 💚

WOW! What an absolutely incredible day!
To everyone who played a part in making this year's Arbor Day planting part of Greening Taupō Day such a massive success, THANK YOU🌱🙌

After many hours of planning, preparation, organising, digging, and coordinating, it all came together thanks to the dedication of so many individuals, organisations, businesses, and volunteers.

Huge thanks to all who gave their time, resources, expertise, and energy to make the day possible.

Whether you helped prepare the site, grew the plants, supplied materials, funded the project, or simply turned up on the day ready to get your hands dirty, you helped create something truly special.

Together, we planted 4,000 native trees that will help create a greener Taupō for generations to come. Trees That Count 🌿

Thank you all for helping us make Greening Taupō Day 2026 another one to remember. 💚

How lucky are we to be apart of such a rewarding kaupapa, We love to see the community getting in and getting it done. Educating and encouraging future generations to care and preserve the Taiao for future generations to come.
