Saoirse has been attending the Market Central each Sunday recently selling her photography mounted on beautiful hand prepared wooden blocks. https://dolphinsaoirse.wixsite.com/saoirsephotos

She likes her independence so I hang out by the live music, sipping coffee and working my way through the many different food trucks whilst enjoying the camaraderie of chatting & meeting each of the stall holders. It has become such a fun, relaxing and energising way to spend each Sunday.

Do include a visit to the market during your stay in Taupō. Market Central is pretty special and I'm grateful to Karen for having created such a vibe.

It feels like a million years since I wrote a blog post. Nothing fancy in this blog post but if you only had a short time to spend in Taupō you would be very grateful for these tips. I'd love to know what your top three tips would be?

There's a new art gallery cafe in Taupō. The Brantry Eatery Brantry Eatery now has the Zeayou Gallery Zeayou Gallery upstairs! It is open for coffee & cake midweek and light lunches on the weekend 🥳🤩😍

We popped in and the art upstairs is fabulous, we were all inspired and the setting is beautiful. Saoirse loved her chocolate brownie 😍 downstairs and I thoroughly enjoyed Lily's melting moment 🤣

Taupō needed a central Art Gallery Cafe space that is central to town so I'm delighted, even more so that it is just around the corner from Taupō's Treat 👣👣👣👣

When you only have a few days or a week or so in Taupō, it's important to know where the yummiest kai is to be found for lunch and dinner. Lets not be allowing substandard food enter our puku!

When there is something I have enjoyed I like to let everyone know about it. Imagine if I kept it to myself and deprived you of the opportunity of enhancing your day... your life... your figure 🤣

Well Oh My... Plateau Bar + Eatery Your newly revamped Salt & Pepper Calamari has entered my own personal hall of fame almost bumping your Chocolate Fondant off the top spot. I love that it is now served with a delicious beansprout salad, coriander, mint and tamarind sauce😍😍 I also recommend the side of kumara gnocchi if you're feeling particularly hungry.

I highly recommend to our guests to treat yourself in Taupō at the Plateau Bar + Eatery . I've a few more suggestions up my sleeve that I'll post about soon too.

Goodness me.. What an amazing find. We finally made it to Secret Spot Hot Tubs in Rotorua. Thank you for the tip Graeme Smith.

The setting and landscaping has been done beautifully. We enjoyed our drinks whilst soaking our feet in the hot pools. An umbrella library so that you are covered for all weathers. Beautiful natural nooks and crannys to lounge about and relax in.

Look at the pictures to see for yourself and make a point of popping in on our next drive to Rotorua.

We didn't have a soak in the actual hot tubs this time but you'll see for yourself when you are there how stylishly designed within a gorgeous natural environment they are. Pure Bliss.

We love going on the Huka Falls River Cruise Huka Falls River Cruise we have been on it 5 times!

It is ideal for families as Dave makes sure the kids have a turn at the wheel and it's indoor and outdoor seating makes it perfect for different ages and weather.

The most incredible part of the cruise though for me is when the boat brings you to the very base of the waterfall. You feel the full force of gazillions of litres of water plummeting down into a vibrant white frothy abyss and it is a feeling you will always remember. Check out our blog for more info.
